To promote the interests of the american veterans disabled for life memorial in washington, dc, and to accomplish all other purposes authorized by law.
We are Marine Corps Veterans who have been through many mental and physical struggles. We have come together to build a community of Veterans and Active duty service members to support one another. The Diving Devil Dogs of Arizona (DDD) and Cold Creek Ranch Military Ministry and Outreach (CCR) have teamed up to focus their collective efforts on the prevention of Veteran and military suicide, the support of Veteran and military families, and the passing on of lessons learned in the military and in combat, to communities in the United States. Our task is to provide rapid, meaningful, and lasting positive results to those who 1) have served in the military, 2) those who currently serve, and 3) those who are interested in serving (in any capacity, not just militarily) and/or their families. Our purpose for doing this is to restore hope, unity, and joy to these same groups of people. We do this through humor, camaraderie, networking, accountability, and requiring some type of investment from those we serve. We are building community, one step at a time.

DOGS 4 WARRIORS UTILIZES RESCUE DOGS FOR OUR PROGRAM
When a member of the military is called to duty, they put their entire lives on hold. They box up their lives and put them on a shelf with a tag that says “to be continued……”. Some of those lives never get the chance to be continued and then there are those who get to come home, but they are not the same people who left. PTSD and TBI often cause the Veterans who return to feel like they are no longer able to face life. They feel out of place, confused, anxious, afraid, and on edge. The things they have been through, most people can’t even imagine and yet these veterans are judged because of that. One of the veterans in our program told me “It’s like being broken and half the pieces are missing so you cant even begin to put things back together.” At Dogs 4 Warriors Inc we know that a service dog won’t fix everything but we also know that they will help mend the wounds. We may not be able to fill in all the cracks but we will help find the pieces.
Our mission is to give military member’s peace of mind concerning their pets when it’s time to deploy by providing them with the ability to find people willing to help them. Dogs on Deployment is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit providing a central database for military members to find families and individuals who are willing to board their pets while they are deployed. No pet should ever be surrendered due to a military commitment. DoD exists to help military members keep their pets by alleviating the need for pet relinquishment from military members due to the hardships of deployments.
