TRR's Warrior Camp® Program is FREE for active military and veterans of all eras. It's Mission is to heal trauma, prevent suicide, enhance resilience and support force preservation. Founded in 2004, Trauma and Resiliency Resources, Inc. (TRR) is dedicated to assisting traumatized individuals to connect with trauma-related resources, including therapists with advanced training in this area. Its mission is to provide: multi-faceted trauma intervention and on-going support services to individuals who have experienced severe stress or trauma as a result of line of duty responsibilities, including, but not limited to: uniformed and non-uniformed workers who responded to the World Trade Center attacks, military service personnel returning from duty, uniformed workers responding to emergencies in the routine execution of their job responsibilities, and the families of all of the above; outreach, information and resources to impacted individuals and their families; information and guidance to clinicians working with these individuals; referrals to follow-up services when necessary. TRR is dedicated to assisting traumatized individuals to connect with trauma-related resources, including therapists with advanced training in this area.
Wellness & supportive services: voc offers a portfolio of no-cost services available to all veterans and immediate family members. There were over 2,600 client visits in 2014. Benefits counseling, readjustment counseling, art therapy, temporary financial assistance, housing search, peer mentoring, financial, legal and education counseling are some of the services provided. 100% of those served received case management services ensuring that every client has an individualized and holistic plan to wellness. This program is supported by government grants. Grants received for this program in 2014 totaled $2,631,301.
