Villagers for Veterans is 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) organization founded for the sole purpose of helping severely wounded veterans. We help veterans directly with much-needed funding or additional resources, or by providing grants to other organizations that provide services for veterans. Either way, we are here to help wounded veterans transition into civilian life with as much support as possible. Villagers for Veterans meets a real need today, as veterans too often face difficulty in securing resources through established sources, such as governmental agencies.
The purpose of the WPSC is to foster and develop a spirit of community responsibility with the families stationed at and around The United States Military Academy at West Point. The club also provides opportunities for social, cultural and, creative pursuits and while supporting worthy service and community projects within our military community.
Our mission is to identify connect and empower Women Veterans: individually, in local community groups, and electronically, in recognition and celebration of their military service, in recognition as veterans who pledge to leave no female comrade behind, and to continue to serve others. We will Empower, Connect, and Serve.
Working Dogs For Vets Mission is to provide service dogs and training to veterans in need, empowering them as they return to civilian life with a new found independence, while simultaneously reducing the overcrowding in animal shelters.
