Gathering and sharing knowledge from and with the troops on the front line, providing resources for those wanting to send care packages and nutritional supplements, and conducting food and related events for them. 4. Homefront Support. Providing educational events for spouses, children, and caregivers, with an emphasis on teaching culinary basics to make good food fast rather than fast food.

First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to improving financial literacy through education and scholarship opportunities. “To educate those who serve” is not just the mission of First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF), it’s our reason for existence. FCEF is committed to ensuring individuals, at all stages of life, have the knowledge and skills to make informed, intelligent decisions about their financial future. Scholarships We award an average of $175,000 each year in various scholarship categories. The Donaldson D. Frizzell scholarship, our only direct-apply scholarship, awards up to $25,000 each year to both traditional and non-traditional students. We have several partnership scholarships with community organizations and institutions around the nation. Education Each year, our staff or trained volunteers provide an average of 50 separate presentations on a variety of topics to general, military, and federal employee audiences. In 2009, FCEF launched our educator-developed and approved ”Money Matters” curriculum to help high school students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to take control of their financial future. And our ”Military Money Matters” includes five military-specific modules in addition to the 12 basic modules. All of our educational products are offered free of charge to public schools as well as military organizations and families.

You were there for us – now we’re here for you. At Hansen & Adkins Auto Transport, we value your experience in the US Armed Forces. Veterans come away from their military service with discipline, dedication and important training that can serve as a launch pad for a successful career.
If you have certain military experience under your belt, you can be working for us in about a month, even if you have no prior commercial trucking experience. Under an agreement with the Department of Transportation, if you have experience operating certain types of heavy equipment during US Military service, this experience may allow H&A to waive the requirement to complete two years of truck driving before you apply to become an auto hauler.
Once hired at H&A under our US Vets FastTrack program, you will participate in our 3-4 week job training program to learn the very specific and unique job of being an auto hauler. From driving requirements, to safety procedures, to loading techniques and more, your next job is waiting for you.
